I (one) Gaddi comes free with every complete tandoor you order. More requirment of gaddi can be ordered online..... The cloth pad is an essential tool for the tandoor oven. Most users can use a glove along with the gaddi if you are not used to doing it with bare hands.
Just place the flattened dough on the gaddi and it shall help you place the naan bread or other breads.
Slapping is the technique to get the flat dough stuck to the hot side walls of the tandoor.
Users have the option of covering this gaddi with a heavy cotton cloth, just take a square cloth and put the gaddi in the centre, wrap the gaddi inside the cloth so that the four corners meet at the centre top, tie a knot between two corners and another knot with the remaining two corners. This shall converge into a large knot at the back of the gaddi thus making it easier for the user to hold the gaddi with these knots. You can replace the outer cotton cloth that you put, this shall give you a choice of different looks and good hygiene. The Gaddi is made with hand so a variation in size may occur.
